Coach Jari McPherson has been selected as a National Winner out of over 2,000 nominations. This is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance he has displayed throughout his tenure as a coach.

It is with great honor and privilege to announce Coach Jari McPherson has been nominated as a National Finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s (PCA) Double-Goal Coach Award. PCA’s Double-Goal Coach Award is given to youth and high school sports coaches from throughout the U.S. who embody the ideals of the Double-Goal Coach, striving to win, while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.

Coach “J” McPherson is the President of the K-Town Raptors and the 10U Head Football Coach. More so, Coach J is a great man, father, husband, and friend. His approach to football and coaching mimics the way he approaches and lives his life. He selflessly dedicates his life to the community in his professional life as well as his personal life. “Doing it for the kids” is not a cliche to him. It is literally a way of life and his dedication to the youth athletes in Central Texas goes way beyond the field. However, don’t get it twisted, he is a great football coach (2-time semifinalist TYFA, 2nd Place AAU State, and AAU National Champion). The man can coach. But this award is also about teaching kids the power of discipline, sportsmanship, dedication, and leadership through sports. There is no man who embodies this more than Coach J.

Feel free to navigate to the following

and leave positive comments for any and all Finalists. This is peak of the Coaching Mountain for volunteers and semi-professionals, and is a great honor.

Coach J, thank you from all of the youth athletes, Parents, Board members, and friends of the K-Town Raptors.
